Used dry, it lays down a vibrant, high coverage line like a standard wax crayon. Brushed over with water afterward, the pigment dissolves into a watercolor style wash, and dipping the tip directly into water before drawing gives a thicker, more saturated, more opaque line straight away. The texture is velvety with high pigment density, and the formula is non toxic.
