Sputnik 1957 – Lampada a sospensione Stilnovo: un’icona del design italiano Color:Oro/Avorio polvere e umidità: nessuna manutenzioneThe 1957 Sputnik pendant lamp, designed by Stilnovo, is an icon of post war Italian design. Inspired by the futuristic aesthetics of the Sputnik satellite launched by the Soviet Union in the same year, this lamp has a central spherical structure from which metal arms branch out with spherical diffusers, often in opaline glass or metal. The style is modern, essential, and reflects the influence of space and technology on the art and design of the time.
