Description
The wine was vinified using 60% whole cluster and aged for around 22 months in 50% new French oak barrique and 50% used French barrique
Tasted February 2018
the wine concludes with elevated alcohol on the finish that continues to offer up flavors of Chambord with sweet oak tones of cinnamon and nutmeg over the elongated finish
indeed almost mute nose that reflects notes of cool mineral reduction
Camille Giroud, Beaune 1er Cru other_regions The wine was vinified using(from Les Cras and Les Avaux). An ultra fresh nose freely expresses its aromas of lilac, red cherry and green tea wisps. There is slightly better density to the medium weight flavors that also conclude in a youthfully austere and persistent but not really lean finale. This too should add weight and flesh with a few years of cellaring.
