There is really lovely detail to the intense big-bodied flavors that possess that highly attractive sense of underlying tension that continues onto the stony and palate coating finish thanks to the abundant amounts of dry extract

As for the wines

Philippe Pacalet, Cote Rotie Size:12x750ml floral and newly turned earthAged in older barrels and not yet bottled. Deep cherry red. Open and scented with pure black fruit and a gentle herbal (but not in the least green) note. Theres also a delicate rocky character adding precision. Mouth watering, moreish, powerful and still scented. Firm, chewy but fine tannins. Great harmony already. (JH)
