Description

it’s the degree that matters and whether the nose would bother most people is hard to judge but it did me

a mixture of red and black fruit mixed with sage

Brisk and tightly wound

and a lemon-pith note bringing refreshment to the finish

Latour Martillac Vintage:2015 it’s the degree that mattersThe 2015 Tour Martillac was impressive from barrel and that is translated into bottle. It has a much more attractive bouquet than the 2015 Olivier with crushed strawberry, briary and warm gravel aromas. The palate is medium bodied with grainy tannin, a fine bead of acidity, fresh and classic in style with an earthy and quite persistent finish. Excellent. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting. Neal Martin
