Pieropan Calvarino Soave Classico, 2019 Vermouth 100% Mencía70% Garganega, 30% Trebbiano di Soave. This is a classic "Soave Classico" wine, from the Veneto region of Italy. The wine ages in glass lined cement tanks for a year. During this period, it remains on the fine lees for increased richness and complexity. Named after the single vineyard from which the grapes come, "Calvarino" has a clear mineral streak, with weight and lifted lime, mint and herbal notes. Pieropan is a legend winery, turning out the
