Mid crimson with some development

Humbert Freres, Charmes Chambertin Vintage:2020 Aromas of dark chocolate(from a . 20 ha parcel of 60+ year old vines located in Mazoyres). Moderate wood is present on the spicy, fresh and ripe black pinot fruit aromas that are trimmed in warm earth wisps. The wood also appears on the palate of the larger scaled flavors that are not quite as concentrated before terminating in a compact, firm, powerful and impressively long finish. This is on the woodier side stylistically but its not over the top.
