Joseph Drouhin, Gevrey Chambertin Vintage:2020 Ripe but distinctly wild nose(25 to 30% of the blend is from declassified 1ers). A ripe yet reasonably cool nose speaks of both red and dark berries along with plenty of forest floor and sauvage suggestions. I very much like the texture of the well detailed medium bodied flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the youthfully austere and solidly complex finale. This persistent effort is a fine Gevrey villages.
