Description
Dating back to the Ptolemaic Period (4th Century BCE-4th Century CE)
This species is famous for having a double row of bones along the underside of its tail to provide extra support - such a distinct feature that it lead to it's name (“diplos” is Greek for double and “dokos” means beam)
Sample is a nakhlite due to the high modal abundance of augite and cumulate texture observed
giving the buyer the ability to see what these specimens look like when found in the wild (on one side)
