Description

Unmistakable in its obesity

There is slightly more depth here than in the Pougets though it’s less fine as well

Moderate reduction renders the nose unreadable today

the 2004 Rosé is especially fine

Bruno Clair, Savigny Beaune Dominode Vintage:2021 Unmistakable in its obesity(from vines planted in 1902). A wonderfully complex earthy and spicy dark berry fruit nose leads to delicious, generous and fleshy middle weight flavors that are sweet, intense and quite finely structured, all wrapped in a finish of impressive length. This is quite firmly if deceptively structured as the tannic spine is completely buffered by the abundant sap. In a word, terrific. 91 2013+
