This means that in normal usage, the battery cannot leak. Even if the battery is accidentally dropped and the casing is damaged, the battery cannot leak as all the electrolyte is enclosed within the glassfiber mat separators. This type of battery can even be shipped by airfreight, and the new line replaces the previous range of VETUS AGM batteries.
