Unusual spicy nose

Rolf Binder, Hanisch Shiraz other_regions (from 60+ year old vinesFull medium ruby. Complex, expressive aromas of raspberry, violet, gunflint, iron and mocha. Then superripe, dense and chewy, with notes of maple syrup, salt and pepper. A sweet, broad wine with a slightly aggressive back end. A rather successful example of the thick, saline style of Australian shiraz. Stephen Tanzer
