There are also notes of fennel licorice, which is unique to Piemonte's leading white variety, Arneis. The texture is nicely rich and fills the mouth well, but a splash of juicy citrus keeps it fresh at the same time. The aftertaste reveals caramelized apricot, and a light nutty flavor lingers. More complex than pinot grigio,
